LGBT+

Just as with racism, and sexism, sexual orientation and gender identity have also been wedge issues exploited by the capitalist class to divide the working class. The LGBT+ faced and still faces harsh repression. Through struggles such as the Stonewall Riots in 1969, use of written, audio, and visual arts, the LGBT+ Community has gained quite a bit of normalization. However, the struggle forges on. About us

The Peoples School for Marxist-Leninist Studies is part of a long line of American communist party sponsored schools, such as the Workers Schools, the Jefferson School of Social Science, the Center for Marxist Education and the Peoples School for Marxist Studies. We were founded in 2016, and have come a long way from classes on conference calls to professional weekly virtual classes, and will continue striving to bring Marxist-Leninist education to the masses. The classes cost nothing and the knowledge is worth everything!

We hold classes online every week on Tuesdays at 8 pm EST/5 pm PST. These are public classes on Zoom that are organized into sections of presentations, and discussion periods. Join our classes and participate in collective education!

March 16th marked the 57th anniversary of the unspeakable My Lai Massacre perpetrated by the United States Army during the Vietnam War. This tragedy saw over 500 civilians including 200 children slaughtered in the most barbaric way. Make no mistake, atrocities in the name of US imperialism like this are not uncommon, this massacre was only the first documented on camera for the American public to see. It galvanized the anti-War movement in the 60s. In the 19th Century, Marx and Engels laid down the theory of Scientific Socialism. In the early 20th century, Lenin updated Marxism to the age of Imperialism and led the 1917 revolution that gave birth to the first large scale Scientific Socialist state. Stalin then picked up the Marxist-Leninist tool kit and led the building of the USSR. Communist Parties around the world built socialist societies modeled after Soviet-style socialism. What is Socialism? – PSMLS Class
Before the abolition of slavery in the United States, a complex network of heroic black and white abolitionists was developed to liberate the slave plantations of the South and set the wheel in motion for the dismantling of the chattel slave economy altogether. The Underground Railroad – PSMLS Class
On December 1, 1955, Rosa Parks, a black woman, was arrested for refusing to give up her bus seat to a white man. Following the arrest, boycotts lasted over a year in what would be known as the Montgomery Bus Boycott.
